University of Muhammadiyah Malang (UMM) a.k.a Kampus Putih is located at Tlogomas 246 Mainstreet, Malang East Java as the Primary Campus, at Bendungan Sutami 188a Malang East Java as Campus II, and at Bandung 1 Malang East Java as Campus I.
UMM was established in 1964 under Muhammadiyah Organisation and become the largest Muhammadiyah Campus in East Java.
The honor Dr.Muhadjir Effendy, M.AP. as the rector lead UMM with “Become a leading university in the development of science, technology and art (IPTEKS) based on the Islamic values.” As the vision and “ and the missions are “To conduct quality education,to conduct research and community service to improve human welfare, to carry out trustworthy university management, to organize the academic community to live Islamic life so they can be good role models for others (uswah khasanah),and to organize mutual cooperation with other parties in the development of science, technology and arts (IPTEKS).”
UMM has many faculties, there are Faculty of Social and Political Sciences, Faculty of Law, Faculty of Economics, Faculty of Teacher Training and Education (Guidance and Counseling), Department of Religious Studies (Branch of University of Muhammadiyah Jakarta FAI), Faculty of Engineering, Faculty of Agriculture, Faculty of Animal Husbandry and Fisheries, Faculty of Psychology, Medical Faculty, Faculty of Health Sciences consists of D3 and S1 Nursing, Pharmacy, and Physiotherapy and Graduate Program.
UMM has international and national partnerships. For the international partnership are: Erasmus Mundus, ACICIS, U.S. Peace Corps, BGP Engineering Netherlands, AMINEF, AIESEC, EESTEC, USAID, AUSAID, American Corner, Corner Iran, and others.
